Description
This talk explores the legal status of the right to adequate clothing in international human rights law. It establishes that, whilst the right is not included within a self-contained provision, the right to adequate clothing is included in the provisions relating to the right to an adequate standard of living. It then suggests the 4AQ (Availability, Accessibility, Affordability, Acceptability, and Quality) framework as a means to determining the adequacy of clothing. In doing so, it suggests several indicators of clothing adequacy.Period | 14 Jul 2023 |
