In 2014, based on my Journal of Democracy article and my Washington Post blogs, I was invited to be part of the Strategic Advisory Group, tasked with advising the President and Government of Ukraine. In this role, I made direct contributions to policy development work related to two policy groups: good governance and anti-corruption & transparency.
