Description

Being Human is a Festival of the Humanities which aims to engage the public with research from various fields. As part of this, an event was arranged within the Manchester Central Library to showcase research being done by colleagues in the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures about public perceptions of DNA and family history. To support his event, 6 researchers from the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology ran interactive activities about the science of DNA.
