Description
With the pressure of GHG emissions rising and the limited non-renewable resources, the urgency to use renewable energy as an energy source has become a global interest. One of the popular renewable energies is bioenergy which accounts for 55% of renewable energy today, contributing to energy used for electricity, heat for industry, and liquid biofuel for transportation. Indonesia has abundant potential resources to produce bioenergy, and with appropriate technology, bioenergy can be a leading energy source in the country’s energy mix.
