Description
Project: "Breaking the Glass: Understanding the barriers faced by Black Professional Women for their career progression". A collaboration with She Leads for Legacy. This research offers new insights and solutions into the barriers Black Professional Women face in their career progression in the UK. My research experience concerning equality, diversity and inclusion contributed to the successfully developing of this project. This project aligns with the University of Manchester’s social responsibility goal concerning “social inclusion”.This project had two recognitions:
- Commended Award for the 2022 University of Manchester “Making a Difference Awards for Social Responsibility”, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion category.
- Finalist for the 2021 Project Excellence Award, Collaboration Labs the University of Manchester.
