Connecting Innovation and Sustainability: Evidences from PropTech fifififirms

The SEI scheme aims to provide UoM undergraduate students with some paid work experience over
the summer. More specifically, our Learning Through Research SEIs aim to provide the intern with
direct research related experience. Ideally, the internship will allow the intern to work alongside an
academic/research staff member at the university on a project they are working on or are associated
with, details of the internship should be provided in the proposal form upon submission. It is
essenFal the intern has appropriate support and guidance over the summer from the academic host.
Previous SEI projects have included responsibiliFes such as conducFng research, reviewing literature,
data collecFon, wriFng reviews etc. The aim is for the interns to gain some direct research related
work experience, rather than carrying out administraFve tasks to support a project.
