DescriptionThe health emergency declared by the Peruvian government in March 2020 as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic posed a huge challenge for education systems worldwide. For the Peruvian university education system, it involved a profound and abrupt change, having to supply the university education service in a virtual 100% way, where - in many cases - this type of study was non-existent, nascent, or formed a very small or little protagonist component of the current educational model.
The present project, Program of Support for the Design and Implementation of Strategies for the Continuity of the Higher Education Service of Public Universities, convened by the Program for the Improvement of the Quality and Relevance of the Services of Higher University and Technological Education at National Level (PMESUT), proposed to respond immediately to these needs, providing six public universities in Peru with technical assistance and training in various aspects to ensure the provision of a service quality non- face education: Universidad Nacional de Barranca (UNB), Universidad Nacional de Moquegua (UNAM), Universidad Nacional de Piura (UNP), Universidad Nacional Santiago Antunnez de Mayolo (UNASAM), Universidad Nacional del Santa (UNS) and Universidad Nacional de Tumbes (UNT).
