Activity: Talk or presentation › Invited talk › Research
Description
The talk discusses the possibilities of life-writing, poetry, textiles, installations and other forms of creative engagement in response to disaster and atrocity alongside what might be thought of as more traditional academic work or activism. Specific examples may include video, life-writing and other reactions to the Grenfell Tower fire and the use of embroidery, exhibitions and visualisations in challenging disappearances in Mexico.
