Delia Derbyshire Day 2017 was a special Heritage Lottery funded event to mark what would have been the 80th birthday of the groundbreaking composer and sound designer Delia Derbyshire (1937-2001).

The event began with daytime workshops for children and adults on electronic music production and sound recording techniques before the evening activities which featured talks and presentations from former colleagues of Delia at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop, live performances of new music and visual art commissions for the event and a new collage of audio material from the Delia Derbyshire Archive, arranged by David Butler with visuals by Andrea Pazos.
