A free day school hosted in collaboration with the Wellcome Trust looking at the role of animal mummies as votive offerings in ancient Egypt. Guest speakers included Professor Paul Nicholson, Cardiff University, Dr Chris Naunton, Director of the Egypt Exploration Society and Dr Campbell Price, Curator of ancient Egypt and Sudan, Manchester Museum
