Description
This two day symposium is aimed at early career researchers working in the field of alcohol research from both public health and social perspectives. We define early career researchers as current PhD students, up to five years post-doctoral research or no more than seven years in alcohol research (excluding Bachelors and Masters degrees). The meeting aims to serve as a platform for early career researchers to present and discuss their research, to encourage networking, foster collaboration and build a community among the next generation of alcohol researchers. The symposium also provides the opportunity for interaction with senior leaders in the field of alcohol research and policy, both formally and informally.
