Description
Together with colleagues from Autism@Manchester we developed and ran two events aimed at raising awareness of autism in girls/women and increasing trust and communication between the research and autism communities. The first event was a workshop based around a training package for autism practitioners, developed by an autistic woman. The second event involved a presentation by an autistic female researcher and a poster session. Attendees included autistic people and their family members, autism researchers and practitioners.Period | Jan 2018 → Jul 2018 |
