Description

The EHRN was an academic research network that aimed to bring PGDRs from across the NWCDTP together to engage in workshops and discussions relating to the environmental humanities. We started delivering events (reading groups and workshops) in semester one of the 2024/25 academic year after receiving generous NWCDTP funding. This funding was extended to semester two after the success the network experienced in the first half the academic year. Organised two outdoor workshops, focussing on engaging with nature in different ways, during this second semester.

I was a co-organiser, along with Teodora Noszkay (University of Manchester) and Nan Song (Lancester University), of the Environmental Humanities Research Network (EHRN). In addition to acting as treasurer, I help to organise and plan the EHRN's events and play an important role in the decision making process.
