Member of Operation Florian team implementing a fire risk assessment of informal settlements and sub-standard buildings occupied by refugees across Lebanon for the UNHCR Shelter Working Group, reporting to Save the Children Lebanon.
- Carried out interviews and focus groups with refugee households, fire services, NGO and government officials.
- Presented initial findings and recommendations to the UNHCR Shelter Working Group.
- Wrote, collated and edited final document ‘Fire Risk Reduction Assessment of Vulnerable Displaced Syrian Populations and Host Community in Lebanon’. Initial recommendations are currently being implemented regionally by humanitarian actors and fire services in Lebanon.
