    IEEE SENSORS is the flagship conference series of the IEEE Sensors Council, an organization currently consisting of 25 IEEE member societies.

    IEEE SENSORS 2017 showcased high quality technical presentations on a broad range of multidisciplinary topics related to sensors and sensor applications. It set a new attendance record of 932 attendees and attracted over 995 abstracts from 57 different countries.The conference had a range of satellite events including International Sensors and Measurement Student contest, CENSIS Technology Summit, Brain Data Bank Team Challenge, Sensing the Brain workshop. A Public Engagement campaign was run through a 2 week poster activity highlighting the advances of local scientific heroes and their connection to sensors.The conference had a range of new Women in Sensors events including STEM for girls and Professional Networking for women engineers.
