Institute of School Business Professionals (External organisation)

Activity: MembershipMembership of board

Description

The ISBL is an apolitical trade association representing school business managers and other members of the school workforce involved in organizational and financial management and administration in England. They are committed to providing government with a balanced stakeholder perspective, representing the broad interests of all of their members and support and develop a fit-for-purpose professional workforce equipped to effectively manage diverse school operations. I am the youngest member of the ISBL Board and the only academic representative owing to my growing reputation as one of very few scholars undertaking research in and writing about the area of the field relating to school business management in England. This role affords me a direct link with policymakers and the 3000 practicing school business manager members of ISBL, a predominantly non-academic audience, with whom I regularly share my research findings.
