Description
I was an invited member of an independent assessment panel to evaluate the performance of NERC’s Environmental Data Service (EDS), funded through NERC National Capability (NC), for providing a service to the scientific and wider community between the period 2018-2022. I led the evaluation for Upgrade and Innovation; Demand and Usage; Governance arrangements and mechanisms. The data centres included in the EDS are: British Oceanographic Data Centre, Centre or Environmental Data Analysis, Environmental Information Data Centre, National GeoScience Data Centre and UK Polar Data Centre. Services evaluated included DataLabs, JASMIN and NERC Vocabulary Server.| Period | 6 Oct 2022 |
