Description
The 'IoP PGS Printing for the Future' is a yearly single-day event dedicated to showcase recent advances in printing, graphics and associated sciences and promote early career professional skills and development. This year’s event will feature a unique blend of a scientific forum and an art exhibition, inviting students, artists, and researchers to explore a broad range of topics. The art exhibition will run throughout both days, alongside presentations merging the worlds of science and art:
· Day 1: Print technology in art, fashion, and packaging · Day 2: The science of printing and its applications in engineering
From traditional printmaking to printed electronics, from the physics of droplets to bioprinting, and from advanced materials to 3D printing, this event offers an ideal platform for presenting cutting-edge research, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and celebrating the fusion of science and art.
Additionally, the conference will coincide with the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, with an evening visit included as part of the programme.
