Quantification of cell-free RNA of (hepatic) drug-metabolizing enzymes and drug transporters in plasma with the aim of developing collaborative methods to leverage precision medicine technology.
Objectives of Thermo secondment:
1. Preparation of cellular and cell-free RNA from human samples
2. Isolation and assessment of the purity of isolated RNA
3. Identification and quantification of isolated RNA using Ampliseq-IonTorrent (TM) technologies
