Health equity is about addressing unfair differences in health outcomes to give everyone a fair opportunity to achieve their highest level of health.

The Lung Health Equity Workshop was held in Manchester in June 2025: Attendees included patients, public contributors, community organisations, doctors, psychologists, data scientists and NHS project and programme managers.

All were connected by their interest in working towards lung health equity. The event aimed to connect stakeholders, create new interdisciplinary teams, unite community partners and public and patient contributors as research partners and spark new ideas to work towards lung health equity.
