Description

Magnetism 2022 is the premier conference organised by the UK and RoI magnetism community. A mixture of invited talks and submitted contributions will allow the breadth of magnetism research in the UK and Rol to be presented. Participation from outside UK/Rol and from industry is also encouraged. The conference encourages participation from across the breadth of magnetism and has included oral sessions on a range of subjects including spintronics, domain walls, dynamics, vortices, skyrmions and topological systems, spin ice, biological and organic magnetism, superconductors, magnetocalorics and ab initio theory. The conference will be held in-person at the University of York on March 28-29, 2022, with the option for online streaming of the talks to a virtual audience. The event follows the highly successful in-person conferences that have been held annually since 2014 as well as the online versions held in 2020 and 2021.
