UK research highlights the need for the higher education sector to design more inclusive, accessible, and flexible assessment choices.
The Optionality in Assessment project will analyse the scope, feasibility, and practicality of student choice in assessment.
Using surveys and interviews with teaching staff, students, external examiners, regulators, accreditors, international HE academics, administrators, and employers, the project will provide guidance and support around assessment optionality.
The project is led by the University of Manchester, who are partnering with Imperial College London, University College London (UCL) and University of York.
