Report from POST Fellowship, Heritage Collections, UK ParliamentAims and Objectives
This project aims to bring together insights from different perspectives to inform
interpretation techniques, issues of display, and event programming to reflect on the role of the Parliamentary collection in relation to the public in the 21st century. Key objectives are:
1) Interviewing curators at comparable institutions, and interviewing leading figures and experts (artists, curators, researchers) about their practice around inclusion and reinterpretation of art, heritage, and collections;
2) Investigating and exploring audience engagement with the collection in order to identify how interpretation can better engage a wider public including women, minority ethnic, religious groups and young people.
