Description

The Postgraduate Summer Research Showcase (PSRS) is an innovative series of events that seeks to enhance the research community at the University of Manchester by providing postgraduate researchers with unique opportunities disseminate their research to a wider audience.

The events bring together researchers from different faculties, allowing them to build expected interdisciplinary connections. Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell, the University’s President and Vice Chancellor, believes events like are, invaluable parts of the University's fabric. “One of the things I really like is seeing students from Engineering and Physical Sciences talking to students from Social Sciences,” she commented of the Showcase in its inaugural year.

I worked as part of the organising committee to run the event in 2016 and 2017.
