Description

Across four events, we have invited scholars, curators, publishers and art practitioners to reflect and expand on some of the central concerns at the heart of Women in Revolt! These sessions will focus on feminist practices of memory-making including curating, printing and publishing, as well as exploring the intersections of art and activism, political struggles and solidarities, to consider the legacy of the 1970s-80s.

This event series is a partnership between The Whitworth Gallery and the Department of Art History and Cultural Practices, University of Manchester.
