Reproductive Scientists for Women’s Health: From pre-conception to the cradle

    Conference co-organiser, speaker and co-chair: Alongside four co-organisers and over 18 months, I planned and executed a 2-day, invitation-only conference for approximately 25 mid-career scientists working in different areas of
    reproductive biology. With support from The Burroughs Wellcome Fund, we
    conceived the idea and format, secured funding, planned the schedule, invited
    speakers, organised the venue, and travel plans, co-chaired the sessions, gave plenary talks and facilitated discussion. The aim was to bring together the next generation of leading reproductive scientists and clinician researchers to share their research, ideas and build new collaborations. We also aimed to aims to address gender inequity within STEMM by supporting emerging female researchers and providing opportunities for them to grow their networks.
