• Undertaking research for a project examining the relationship between addiction and social context in the Blackpool and Claremont areas
• Using the NEXIS database to select and log appropriate news and media coverage by evaluating the content of two-thousand newspaper articles
• Collating and coding secondary data and academic literature regarding the socio-economic profile of Blackpool
• Writing summaries of my findings to be used by the lead investigators in a grant application
