Description

SPINS-UK (Science Possibilities Investigating Neutron Stars in the UK) is a consortium of UK astrophysicists involved in neutron star and related science, including gravitational wave astrophysics.

The purpose of the meetings is to provide an opportunity to gather senior and early-career UK-based scientists, as well as our talented students, to present and learn about the breadth of science being done in the UK by researchers at all levels. We also aim to create a national platform for discussions about ways to move forward with collaborations and supporting our science within the UK, through research funding opportunities, outreach, as well as other activities and initiatives.
