Description

The aim of the Make do and Mend Expo was to draw on insights from the project ‘Makers, Make do and Mend’ to engage with academics, publics, organisations and policymakers, through presentations, workshops and activities about the environmental and financial benefits of ‘being thrifty’ and potential of alternative provisioning models. A key part of this was collaborating with third sector organisations to produce a ‘How to’ guide to encourage communal forms of thrifty provision.
