My PhD research project on the upcycling of worn clothes develops critical lenses from the material and affective turns in the social sciences. For the conference, I present the material aspect of upcycling with a paper titled "Wasted or Valuable? A material perspective on the remade of worn clothes". In particular, focusing on upcycling as practice of making and making as a material method.
