Description

As part of the university's bicentenary celebrations, an event for families and other visitors to the Manchester Museum was hosted to engage the public with languages and linguistic diversity in sciences, natural history and archaeology. As part of a collaboration with Creative MCR, an academic from the MIB was part of the team running the event.

Participants were given language trail sheets to find different places in the museum and engage with the displays and exhibits there. Trail sheets were given out and numerous families were engaged with the museum’s offering and linguistic aspect of science.
