Utopia on the High Street: Tracing the possibilities for a marvellous Post Office

I delivered a presentation in which the historical role of the UK's Post Office as a vanguard institution of modernity, is juxtaposed with its current beleaguered condition and then with an imagined, marvellous future for the organisation and for society as a whole. This utopian reading of the institution challenges Fredric Jameson's dismissal of its potential in his book An American Utopia: Dual Power and The Universal Army.

I also helped out with Zoom hosting for a number of the conference panels.
