Description
This workshop event brought together 30 policy, research and community stakeholders working in the cultural, parks and other related third sector organisations to discuss the issues and challenges facing public parks. It was hosted at the Whitworth Gallery in Whitworth Park and featured a number of invited speakers from museums and cultural organisations as well as academic researchers who presented research and evaluation on engagement practices. The workshops was funded through Faculty of Humanities Social Responsibility funding and resulted in a briefing report. The findings also fed into development work for the follow-on project with the Whitworth Gallery exploring the relationship between museums and their surrounding green spaces, with Esme Ward and Francine Hayfron.Period | 22 Mar 2017 |
