    Press/Media: Other

    Description

Greg James is on a mission. Can he find a robot to replace Ed Sheeran?

He teams up with 15 mechanical machines from the Manchester Robot Orchestra to play Ed's song 'Shape of You'. But he also needs to find a robot that can sing and dance just like Ed too!

After a nationwide search he thinks he's found the perfect humanoid robot. He'll put it through its paces by challenging it to a live interview, aiming to find out how it measures up on-air to a real life celebrity.

Then, after an intense period of rehearsing and robot coding, we head to the BBC's legendary Maida Vale studios for the performance. It could be the biggest night of their robotic lives - assuming none of them blow a fuse...
