On BBC Radio 5 Live earlier this weekend was Egyptologist, Dr Nicky Nielsen, from the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health. He was speaking to Dotun Adebayo about the discovery of a necropolis holding at least 17 mummies near the Nile valley city of Minya. The discovery was made in the village of Tuna al-Gabal, a vast archaeological site on the edge of the western desert.
