BBC RADIO LONDON: Men crying

Press/Media: Expert comment

Description

Prof Sir Cary Cooper was interviewed on BBC Radio London this morning [2:10:15]. Prof Cooper spoke about crying among adult men, and the difficulties men have in expressing emotion after a lifetime of supressing it. He notes that it has become more acceptable, led in part by the willingness of footballers to cry on the pitch. “The more that men express their feelings, the better for them and the people around them”, notes Prof Cooper.
