Prof David Olusoga was interviewed on Newsnight on Friday [30:40]. Prof Olusoga said that protests can affect change, but only when there is a willingness to engage by leadership in government. He added that many organisations and institutions were showing awareness, but the government – and in particular the Prime Minister, due to his historical use of racial slurs – is unable to provide the leadership needed.
