    DescriptionA recent scientific study has discovered that the wetlands in Mount Abu, the sole hill station of Rajasthan, are experiencing a decline in conditions and ecosystem services.
    The study was carried out by Dr Mehebub Sahana from the University of Manchester, UK, and Dr Kashif Imdad from Pandit Prithi Nath PG College, Kanpur, and a member of the State Advisory Committee, Uttar Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority. It concentrated on ten essential wetlands in the Mount Abu region, including Oriya, Kapursagar, Jawai Talab, Nakki Lake, Chandelao Dem, Bageri Dam, Sarwar Lake, Bahadur Purwa Lake, St. Merry Lake, and Dougerpura Lake.
