The workshop was attended by Community Representatives from Kumartuli, Kolkata based Planners, Architects, Academic Researchers, Engineers, Policy makers, Research Students. In this workshop, community representatives and local residents were invited to share their experiences and grievances. The aim of the workshop was to provide a safe, collaborative, and fair space to discuss and share ideas of improving lives and livelihoods through enriching the infrastructure and services. Further the workshop also considered how can the precarious conditions of living and working in slum neighbourhoods be improved with the knowledge, expertise, and experience of the artists, residents, researchers, planners, architects, engineers and academics.
