Dr. Edward Ademolu focused his PhD study at the University of Manchester on representations of Africa by development agencies, and diaspora audiences.

His interviews with African diaspora in the UK show that diaspora generally feel alienated by the visual communications of the NGOs. “These representatives fail to move with the times, and to capture the interest of the diaspora communities,” said Dr. Ademolu.
