Press release by Prof K Munor, & Drs G Saunders & M Stone to mark the 75th birthday of NHS on July 5th 2023. Hearing aids were one of the explictly mentioned treatments available from the inception. The particular hearing aids were designed in Manchester by Dr T Simms-Littler in a fore-runner of our department.
