Andrew Sharrocks, professor of molecular biology at the University of Manchester, said: “This study does not investigate or uncover any causes for this [rise] and merely speculates at possible causes such as radiation emitted from mobile phones… There is zero evidence of a link between mobile phones and brain tumours.”
