Description

A piano extravaganza ‘The People Protesting Drum Out Bigly Covfefe’ composed from chants heard at political protest rallies by Dr Kevin Malone, School of Arts, Languages and Cultures (SALC), was broadcast on BBC Radio 3’s ‘Record Review’. The piece is also the research source for Kevin’s next orchestral work, 'A Peterloo Parade’, drawing on music performed at St Peter’s Square, Manchester on 16 August 1819.
