Roger Johnson and his team at the BBC recently paid a visit to Manchester Brain Bank to discuss our new collection of brain donations from individuals who passed away with a brain tumour and to highlight the use of such donations in future neuro-oncology research.

The footage was shown as part of a piece that BBC North West Tonight and BBC Breakfast were doing on the legacy of Laura Nuttall, a courageous young woman who was diagnosed with a glioblastoma in 2018 and who passed away in 2023.

Staff from Manchester Brain Bank were featured on BBC North West Tonight and also on BBC Breakfast, where an extended film based on Laura’s journey and her legacy was shown on Saturday 26th August 2023.
