MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS: Spiders don't just invade your home during 'spider season' - they are hiding there all year round

Press/Media: Expert comment

Description

A spider expert at the University of Manchester explained to the M.E.N that we just 'don't notice' spiders during the rest of the year, but actually, your home is also their home.

Prof. Dr. Rainer Breitling formerly suffered from arachnophobia (a fear of spiders) - and it was this that made him want to research the arachnids.

He said: "They don't come into your house in autumn specifically; they are already there where they live all year long and are hidden away. It's surprising how little you notice them."
