A tech start-up is urging more collaboration to monitor wildfires and help the moorland restoration.

Dr Gail Millin-Chalabi launched EnviroSAR last year.

Funded by the University of Manchester’s Innovation Company, UMI3 Ltd, the business analyses satellite radar data to mitigate wildfire risks, supports planning and execution of land restoration activities to reduce water discolouration and associated costs.
