Dr Nirmalan, a professor of medical education at the University of Manchester, aims to highlight the importance of these conversations through an art exhibition that opened at The Whitworth gallery this week.The video installation, Death and Birth In My Life, was created by Berlin-based artist Mats Staub in collaboration with Dr Nirmalan and his team at the University, the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, and arts festival SICK!.
