University scientists have joined forces with Manchester's hospitals to carry out crucial research on coronavirus.

The University of Manchester has launched the 'rapid response research project' to work on COVID-19 testing, vaccinations and new treatments.

University researchers will team up with clinicians from the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) and the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group, organisations in charge of the city's main hospitals.
