Prof Cooper spoke about the issue of whether or not patients self-isolating due to the Covid-19 disease will be paid for their enforced quarantine. Prof Cooper pointed out that, during the 2012 Olympics, many businesses in London recommended people work from home, showing it is feasible, but he worried about those working in the gig economy.
