The workshop extended its collaborative network to engage Native American youth, Alaskan Native and Indigenous Siberian community leaders in a multi-dimensional interactive process promoting symmetrical knowledge sharing and empowerment of Indigenous expertise. The event hosted members of Alaskan Yup’ik, Siberian Eveny and post-graduate students from Menominee and Oglala Sioux communities who shared valuable insights from indigenous practices of environmental guardianship.
